About Us
Hi, my name is Erin Sandy and I am the owner of The 308 Boutique. Let me bring you up to speed on the woman behind the crazy! Born and raised on a ranch near Amherst, Nebraska, I learned the value of faith, family and hard work from my parents. My career path after college led me across the country to San Diego and then “back home” again in 2006. I had worked in a variety of industries, from technology sales, ethanol and a commodity brokerage firm to design and construction before landing in fashion. I am a Jesus lover, farmer’s wife and Momma to three beautiful girls: Olivia, Bella, and Gabby (yes, #twinmom).
My favorites include: coffee, Diet Pepsi, wine (preferable Cab), entertaining and decorating. My “meh” moments include: raw tomatoes and mushrooms, putting away laundry, messes, whining, angry music and laziness. Our motto “Pretty Things Inside” comes from 1 Peter 3:3-4: “Do not let your adornment be merely outward – such as elaborate hairstyles, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel, but rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.” The 308 was created to remind you of that inner beauty that you all have, while outfitting you in fun, fashionable pieces that you feel confident in.
